Cuban-born, the Mojito was one of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite drinks. A mojito is a refreshing drink that has a tart, minty, citrus taste that’s backed up with a punch of rum. This drink is made to cool you down during those hot summer afternoons.
What you need:
- 1 1/2 oz. rum
- 2 tsp sugar (can be less)
- 1/2 lime
- 12 leaves or 3 sprigs of mint
- Club Soda
Then, combine the sugar and mint in a tall glass. Add some juice from the lime and slightly crush the mint leaves. Add the rum and ice (ice should reach close to the top of the glass.) Add club soda and ENJOY!
