How to make a Whiskey Sour

If you have ever taken a Lemon Drop shot and enjoyed it, you’ll probably like a whiskey sour then. A Whiskey Sour can be made with all different types of whiskey making it very versatile to whoever is making it.

What you need:

  • 1 1/2 oz bourbon (preferred whiskey)
  • 1/2 - 3/4 Tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 oz lemon juice, fresh squeezed
  • Orange slice (optional garnish)
  • Maraschino cherry (optional garnish)

Once you’ve gathered everything put them into a cocktail shaker with some ice cubes and begin to shake.

Note: The point of the ice cubes are not only to get the drink cold but to also dilute the drink just a bit.

Afterward, pour the drink into an appropriately sized glass over ice. If it is too sour, play with the ingredients until it is to your liking. Enjoy!
